I can also undertake most repairs, cleaning and restringing/refretting. The most common repair is replacing bridges that have decided to have a holiday and replacing pegs that have shrunk over time and keep slipping and nuts which can give a whole host of problems.

So if you are interested in having an instrument made for you the first step is to let me know what you require. We can then discuss which woods you prefer and all other decisions have to be made before a price can be given.

Once a price has been agreed I will ask for a 20% deposit only once work has begun.

The remainder will be payable before the instrument is either collected or shipped to you.

All my work remains with me until payment is received in full, I do not accept returns for any reason unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Please be aware of shipping costs and import duties to your country , I will try and give a quote for shipping at the start but adjustments will be made if costs rise unreasonably. Import duties are out of my hands unfortunately. Most of my instruments are shipped abroad and I have never had any issues to date.
